“Progress comes to those who train in the basic techniques.
Do not chase after secret techniques for everything is right before your eyes”.

In September 2007 & March 2009, Yvonne had the privilege to attend the first ever Equine Touch™ Level 1 & 2 Clinics to be held in Canada. The clinic was taught by Jock Ruddock, one of the founders of The Equine Touch™. Yvonne’s keen interest to continue learning from experts in the field of equine body work by highly accredited courses and teachers keeps her updated and enthusiastic while gaining more of a knowledge base. Also joining Yvonne in the Equine Touch™ Level 1 course was her partner Vernon Groetchen who proved to have a natural touch with the horse. Click here to enjoy some photos of horses enjoying the Equine Touch Body Balancing technique.
Equine Touch™ is relatively new in the field of complementary animal modalities. It has already achieved credibility with horse owners, riders, trainers, equine therapists, equine chiropractors and veterinary surgeons in all countries where it is taught. The results in competitive horses have been to say the least, stunning, and the ability for a horse to address a long-standing problem; be it emotional, physical, neurological or behavioral has astounded even the most skeptical of traditional equine doctors and therapists. The Equine Touch™ is not a treatment designed to focus on any particular injury that the horse may or may not have. It is in essence an energy release discipline which must be considered as a holistic healing gift to the horse. The main ingredients required are accuracy, integrity, intent and a great deal of love for the equine.
The Equine Touch is not designed, or intended, in any way to be a substitute for normal veterinary practice. It is extremely complementary to allopathic medicine as it is to acupuncture, homeopathic and herbal medicine while standing on its own as an initiator of amazing results.
The Equine Touch
“You are incapable of helping a horse if you feel inside that you can’t.
You are incapable of overcoming a horse’s problem even if you wish to, if you think you can’t.
You are incapable of helping a horse if you don’t feel you can learn how.
Any help offered to the horse will only be received halfhearted if your
integrity and desire to help is not wholehearted.
You must be in total harmony with yourself and the universe
around you before you can be in harmony with the horse.
If you are not in harmony with the horse all the combined knowledge of man
will not help you help it to solve the smallest problem.
Without the purity of integrity and intent there can be no truth behind your work.
The accuracy of your hands should only be guided by the inner whispers of your heart.
And the ever present voice of Epona lighting the way.
Mai Ka Piko O Ke Po’O Ka Poli O Ka Wawaae, A La’a Ma Na Kiki’ Eha O Ke Kino
“Success comes from harmony”
