Dina & TNT (Tri N Turn)
I used the At Ease Natural Scents Arnica Muscle & Joint Rub on my 3 year old quarter horse after almost every hard workout down in Colorado in May 2008. (its almost empty, so I need to buy more from u ;) ) And it was amazing stuff! While other peoples horses were coming up sore because of the strenuous training schedule, I believe the massage oil helped me clear the lactic acid from my horses muscles so that she was able to remain comfortable and stay on a rigorous training schedule! It smells amazing, she loved the feel of it and it is so smooth and easy to apply. I must also tell you I LOVE your lip balm! I have always had trouble with a dry line around the top of my lips, I have tried EVERY chapstick out there and nothing has helped but I have noticed a CONSIDERABLE difference using the At Ease Natural Scents Lip Balm. I am very much looking forward to experiencing more of your products!

Massage therapy is a wonderful way to improve ones riding and the horses performance. As a competition rider and trainer, how my animals perform reflects how I am able to work myself. The dynamics of being a team but at the same time working as one, having a healthy and balanced body on both horse and rider is imperative. Through muscle work, Essential Oils, Game Ready and other tricks up her sleeve, Yvonne has made this possible - she works hard to balance and work out all muscle problems that we both may have. One reflects the other - She has helped me a lot as I have maintainance issues that have to be kept up as well as my horses suppleness and muscle balance. One of our older horses now has a shoulder problem but with the help of Yvonne he can compete and perform at his very best and feel his best while doing his job that he loves so much.

July 2008 - I contacted Yvonne Allen in regards to doing a relaxation and therapeutic body work session for myself. My daughter and her husband had both received massage services by Yvonne and being pleased with their results recommended her to me. Well, what a treat it was! Yvonne shared with me that most of her massage services were done on horses and I immediately let her know my thoughts here being “if it is good enough for a horse, well then it is good enough for me”! During my appointment, Yvonne spent a good two hours discovering sore areas and gently worked these with some essential oils and the Natural Scents Arnica Muscle & Joint Rub to help ease my discomfort. It felt wonderful to have her do some work on my knee to relieve the pain there. What an awesome experience!

Thank you for introducing me to the At Ease Natural Scents Product Line. The Lemongrass Shampoo & Detangler has worked really well on my dog Ozzie. It has made his fur fluffy and soft and makes him look like the wolf he really is :) He no longer has the itchy and dry skin he would constantly scratch at and his dandruff is gone too! I have used the shampoo on my horse and her coat looks healthy and shiny.

As long as I have known my horse he has loved to jump. He would even jump on his own if he was turned out in the arena by himself. No matter how bad my approach is, he will ALWAYS jump and do an amazing job! The day he started running out on jumps was devastating. I got Yvonne out shortly thereafter and could not have been more impressed with her work. I jumped him two days later and he was back to his old usual self, flying over everything! She did wonders for him. Logan showed great approval with her use of essential oils which included the Arnica Muscle & Joint Rub special massage oil blend and finishing off with the Game Ready was greatly enjoyed by the horse. Yvonne truly cares for the animals and excels at her work. Thank you so very much!

May 2008 - I work as a Chef in one the finer hotels in Surrey, B.C. I suffered a second degree burn on my forearm due to my skin making contact with a hot oven. The initial care was washing it with a saline solution without any wrapping. Three days later the burn became quite painful and inflamed and I was starting to have some concern that there may be some infection setting in as the wound was weeping. I was offered to try some Natural Scents Bacterial Cleanser to clean the wound followed by the application of lavender essential oil and then topped with Natural Scents Comfrey Salve. We finished off caring for the burn with a clean dressing. Immediately the pain disappeared and I was able to continue working comfortably. I was offered to take some of the salve home to reapply if needed. The next day I was still having some concern that an infection had set in as I felt lots of tingling in the burned area. I repeated the same procedure as the day before and once again instantly the pain went away. When I woke up the next day there was no more tingling or pain in the affected area and the inflammation and weeping had gone away. The wound was healing over! I am thankful for natural products that work to treat these kinds of conditions and quickly at that. I wished I had not waited so long to apply this care, I am sure that I would have avoided the beginning stages of the infection that ultimately occurred.

Oct 15, 2008 at about 8 am I received a phone call from Jan Systad; the caretaker of Jimmy and Angel and it was the phone call we all as horse owners dread to receive. Angel was showing symptoms of colic and the first give-away was the no interest in her morning grain. She was observed rolling, getting up and down and looking at her belly. The hay did not interest her, not even her beloved friend Felix the barn cat who seemed to be apparently trying to amuse her. Vernon made it out to the farm before I did to access the situation and it was a relief to see her standing quietly with Vernon when I got there. I was prepared to do whatever I could while making the judgement call as to whether or not we needed to call in a vet. I went directly to the Essential Oils and applied a massage oil blend that I had made to the colic points (acupressure points) on her body. It took not but 30 seconds to get a response that I never would have expected. I know the oil blend was quite warming on the body as I have used it on both horses before however Angel was extremely sensitive to it this time. As I went to apply it to the dock area of her tail, she started jumping up like the “Large Bunny” Jan calls her as her nick name. Vernon was shocked at this (thinking this was not a good thing) but I went on to explain the behavior she was demonstrating was probably a good thing. I have been told by old cowboys from generations ago that the best thing for a horse that is colicky is to put them in a trailer and take them for the bumpiest ride possible to shake up the body so to speak. I couldn’t image putting whiskey down there throats but apparently this was another old remedy. Based on my experience with the oils, this was the perfect example of how they do stimulate the body…especially when needed. After her frolic and passing of an amazing amount of gas, she seemed much more attentive so off we went for a nice long walk. Not long after the awaited passing of a large amount of manure came about and all seemed quite well. I finished off my time with her this day doing energy work which she greatly appreciated (Jimmy seemed to receive the benefits too!). One can never really know if the simple things we do can really make the difference, but I do believe having the watchful eyes like those of Jan who picked up on this colic behavior initially, and having the two people that Angel most trusts with her, does make all the difference. Not so unlike us people that have the emotional support of family members and friends in our time of need.

At Ease Natural Scents
Sept 1, 2008 - I have been using the Natural Scents Comfrey Salve to control the psoriasis that I have had for the past 50 years. I've never found a product that has worked better to control the patchy and dry skin condition that comes with having psorias. What I love best is that it is a natural product so I don’t have to worry about unneccessary side effects. I have also been using the Lavender Face Crème ... I love it! The scent alone is enough to make me want to use it but the benefits of the smooth and soft skin I am now experiencing, once again with a natural product, truly excites me. Thanks for sharing these wonderful products with me Yvonne!

April 2008 - I just wanted to let you know how much I love the At Ease Natural Scents Comfrey Salve and Lavender Oil I bought from you. The salve is amazing! I have really bad eczema, especially on my legs and after using the Natural Scents Salve just once, I noticed a huge difference. The sores had almost disappeared and my skin didn’t feel dry and itchy. After using the Natural Scents Salve for only one week you can hardly tell that I had a skin problem! I want to thank you so much for introducing this product to me and I also let you know that I plan to continue using At Ease Natural Scents products.
